This hospital will Shake you down for services that they agree to in Cash. I was referred by my physician to Medical City McKinney for a Coronary Calcium Score. I was told it would be $110 flat fee cash price by both my doctor and at the hospital when I went to get the test. Got the test done and two weeks later I get a text from ***** ********* associates wanting $387 for their reading of the test. So I had to give them my insurance then. The staff here are the most unprofessional, incompetent, and unethical people you will ever encounter. Right at the beginning of January 2023, I had a horseback riding accident where I fell off my horse and injured my right knee, and came to Medical City McKinney ER. From beginning to end, the staff here treated me extremely inhumanely and mishandled my situation completely. On January 12th 2023 I was taken by EMS to this Hospital. When I got to the room it went down hill from there . Nurse ask me questions then when it came to Nurse PA she didn't believe a word I was saying. Nurse thought I had ID Braclet on nope scanned gave me medication. Waited Nurse ask me how I was thats when I ask why a Nurse PA Not a Dr. to treat me why so long she got attitude with me told me we are busy . RecommendedI have been here for 9 days with my lil brother.....at 60 something, his first in his adult life visit to a hospital as a patient....they have taken excellent care of him. each need day brought obstaclesand wonderful nurses, pct, respiratory, dietary...Thank you from the bottom of a very grateful heart...enjoy those bundt cakes!!!

Would you want to go to a place where they have racist people working on you? Yes this is a real message that was sent to me on 2/2/2021 from Chelsea Young who works in the surgery department. So no I don’t recommend this hospital.
Medical City McKinney is top notch in every way. However they do have one recent problem: Their web site advertises that the COVID-19 vaccine is available as of Dec, 28 at their 4500 Medical Center Drive address for people in the 1B category (65 and older with at least one underlying risk factor). But when I showed up there this morning, Dec. 30, they said their web site is in error. In a pandemic, that's a pretty big error.
The best nurses in labor & delivery. Very pleased. Very thankful to have had such supportive and helpful nurses. Highly recommend. ❤️

Everyone was super friendly from pre op to the surgery to the overnight stay. Food was good as well. :) For my first time actually spending the night in the hospital, it was a wonderful experience with such caring staff.

Beware of this facility. This hospital is clearly not a place for a Black American patient. I was admitted to the observation unit for 3 days. During my hospitalization, the nurse came in to help me on the toilet, I asked her to document/chart my difficulty in toileting and mobility. That is it...all I did was ask the nurse a question. She was offended, disturbed, and argumentative leaving/storming out of the room. She left me on the bedside toilet knowing that I had no use of my right arm and right leg.
