RecommendedI have been here for 9 days with my lil brother.....at 60 something, his first in his adult life visit to a hospital as a patient....they have taken excellent care of him. each need day brought obstaclesand wonderful nurses, pct, respiratory, dietary...Thank you from the bottom of a very grateful heart...enjoy those bundt cakes!!!

Would you want to go to a place where they have racist people working on you? Yes this is a real message that was sent to me on 2/2/2021 from Chelsea Young who works in the surgery department. So no I don’t recommend this hospital.
Medical City McKinney is top notch in every way. However they do have one recent problem: Their web site advertises that the COVID-19 vaccine is available as of Dec, 28 at their 4500 Medical Center Drive address for people in the 1B category (65 and older with at least one underlying risk factor). But when I showed up there this morning, Dec. 30, they said their web site is in error. In a pandemic, that's a pretty big error.
The best nurses in labor & delivery. Very pleased. Very thankful to have had such supportive and helpful nurses. Highly recommend. ❤️

Everyone was super friendly from pre op to the surgery to the overnight stay. Food was good as well. :) For my first time actually spending the night in the hospital, it was a wonderful experience with such caring staff.

The nurses were great, dr Axene was great. The PA i saw twice was horrible. Very unprofessional and rude. It was the worst experience I’ve personally had healthcare wise to the point of signing an AMA and walking out due to the things that were said to me. I even told the nurses it wasn’t them and they were great, it’s just this one person. I’ve had 2/4 of my kids here and I’ll never go back now. Failed to deliver Basic care during my ER hospitalization. No Physical Exam was performed by the doctor. Ordered unnecessary test, charged for medication that was not delivered.

I received great care from this facility, but billing has been a bureaucratic nightmare! We are now 5 months past my visit, and I still cannot get you to mail me a bill that I can then pay. I keep getting emails and text messages saying my bill is ready, but when I follow the directions on opening the bill in the portal, it says no bill is available (so I cannot pay). I spent over 2 hours searching before I found a phone number that would get through to your billing department. They confirm that I have an outstanding balance... read more
