Staff most helpful , kind , friendly ... easy to be turned around in halls maybe more signs/ directions , overall people went out of there way to help .
My visit started off well; they got me in for tests and a CTscan quickly and smoothly. The waiting room was not full. However, once I got into an ER room (about 7pm) and they hooked me up, they kind of just forgot about me. No blanket, and it was cold. The nurse came back to give me some meds about 1 hour later. When she told me that she was going to give me morphine, I asked her if I could get something that wasn't a narcotic. Three years ago I had a brain aneurysm and was taken to the 'then' new Sunnyvale hospital. I thought I was just having a very bad migraine. They did a CT scan and I heard them say " she has bleeding on the brain". That was on a Friday morning. The next time I heard anybody talk , I woke up Saturday morning at Medical City Dallas in Nvicu with my husband looking at me smiling. Little did I know that I had been air lifted here. Very pleased with the "Ask A Nurse" program. She asked me great questions to help me decide my next course of action. I am glad I called and got great advice. I was seen by a doctor, treated in the ER and am resting at home.
