Blake hospital is the worst hospital ever I called administration today risk management not even a call back and they said just leave a message the kid is still in pain being discharged I also called nurse manager but no return call. my daughter had a roommate in the room who was old elderly and unable to feed herself and her food tray sat out there for 4 hours with no one helping her feed her.the nurses don't know what they're doing we had to wait almost 24 hours for the results of a CTA for an inpatient with a possible PE.... read more

This hospital is very disappointing our father as been in there a week not a family member as seen any doctor that as entered his room no contact with my dads advocate not contact to his wife there is no treatment plan yesterday he had a surgical procedure again no family members contact no wife and today we do it even know what they did and why and if it was successful No communication from Doctors zero zero to the family run with your loved one from here just run
Huge shout out to the women's ward at Wesley. Kim and Nicole (2 of the nurses there)are some of the most genuinely caring people I have ever met. I was recently in for a few days having surgery and they were so helpful and there for me no matter what my needs were. When you feel crippled in some way, and a complete stranger treats you like you matter... I guess it brings a certain sense of hope. I hope more nurses are like these 2 ladies. I came in to your trauma bay from Baptist Health Clay ER in August after a motorcycle accident and didn't get a scan of my head, then had surgery on my wrist pushed off several times until one of your nurses finally was able to push the OR to put me on the schedule. When the nerve block wore off after my surgery, my attending physician refused to give me appropriately dosed painkillers.
