ok, so the system they have is far from perfect, reception are only doing their jobs, I completely understand of their frustration... but they could be a little more empathetic and there MUST be a better system to what the have now. I am writing on behalf of my .husband, who has received exemplary care from this practice during his recent illness. In the first instance the nurse and doctor gave a speedy diagnosis and got him to hospital. Shortly afterwards,at the sutgery, blood tests were efficiently performed and the results speedily conveyed to us by reception, who also arranged for the prescription to be ongoing. been going here for most of my life, I'm 17 and have been repeatedly pushed back, told my chronic pain doesn't exist, that I'm overweight and just need to exercise, or try birth control. not worth it and definitely changing my GP
I almost died due to receptionist’s mistake, if you are under this practise make sure you advocate for yourself. I am writing this 3 years later as I am realising this is something patients do need to consider with this practice. I found a fist sized lump in a concerning area and attempted to make appointments almost every day for 3 weeks.
