The wait wasn't long. The service was great! The stuffed French toast was amazing! I'll be back next time I'm in Pittsburgh.
We loved the food and the atmosphere. The tomahawk steak was to die for.
We had the mussels, papadelle, and the pot roast...could probably be the best we have ever eaten of all three!!!!! Incredible. If you are in Pittsburgh go to Meat and Potatoes and treat yourself and your taste buds to an eating experience worth every last bite! And...the wine was not to be out done by the food!!

Great atmosphere. DJ spinning classics. Staff so friendly. Our bartendress, Jessie, was AMAZING. We were from the Cleveland area and were in town to sing on a show. One of the guys in our group had been to M&P before and said he HAD to go back and he was taking us with him. Best meal of the day. We each picked something different from the brunch menu. The tartare and 45oz ribeye are to die for and they have a nice bourbon list as well!
Myself and family stopped for drinks and they were very busy. We were able to sit 2 out of the 4 of us, but short time later moved to where 4 stools opened up. Drinks were served promptly and watching Blake make a FABULOUS Ramo gin fizz! Nice night!
Sat at the bar had the best Arnold Palmer the appetizer duck liver spott on. Dinner was delicious prime sirloin grilled braised oxtail paired with Swiss chard, potato casserole
We were seated outside, which was fine for the weather but we were given a table that would normally seat 3, maybe 4, and we were a party of 5. Very cramped. The menu was scarce at best. You would think a place that calls themselves Meat and Potatoes would have a variety of cuts of meat. 3 choices and one of which was the 45oz ribeye. Mistakes in the order were made as far as a side that wasn’t ordered and the wrong mussels were brought. However, after all of that, the food was delicious.
