The Steak itself was great, done perfectly. What accompanied the steak not to much, the sauce the put with it was just too much I ended up scrapping it all off and pushing it to the side. It took away from how great the steak tasted. The potatoes that came with it were very dry on the inside and a stale crunchy exterior. Like they were under a heat lamp for an extended period of time. Rather good.... chicken and waffles a bit dry. Everyone loved it! And morning mule- simply amazing.
We lucked out on a Saturday to stop by and find they had openings for brunch. I'd been wanting to try them since they'd opened, although I shied away at times feeling my tastes weren't adventurous enough for their menu. However, the brunch menu contained a variety of standards (my husband had the Breakfast Americano - bacon, eggs, home fries, toast) and I ordered the unique Stuffed French Toast (peanut butter, bananas & bacon). Great innovative food, excellent service, great bar stocked for every taste and an amazing customer mix. The only problem with this place is finding a seat at the bar. I travel often for work and always try to go there while I am there. Unfortunately I can't find a seat. Good problem for them. If you have never been to Meat and Potatoes, you need to.
Blake was awesome � we requested two cocktails that haven't been on the menu for quite sometime.... the buffalo negro and a glenshaw sour ..he went out of his way to find the ingredients in the kitchen...he made them with perfection and a welcoming smile .. we appreciate your talent Blake .... thank you Chuck an Deb �
The decor was trendy, the waiter was from France ( attitude), my hanger steak was excellent & very reasonable. Well worth a visit
We were in town and no reservation, they seated us outside quickly and it was a beautiful day. The dark and stormy was excellent, we had the coconut curry mussels , hanger steak and the kilbo and pierogi. Everything was delish!
Never disappointed. Brunch is always a great idea!!!!
