Wow! What a jewel in Whitby's crown this hidden gem is. Far away to be in the peace and tranquility of the yorkshire countryside, yet close enough to lots if places to explore. The cottages are just beautiful, comfortable and cosy and VERY VERY hard to leave for a day of exploring... in fact for that reason we had a whole day in the cottage one day, watching the gorgeous goats, sheep and donkeys playing out front, birds on the feeders and admiring the sea view in the distance. Our first time staying in a Shepherd Hut. We have absolutely loved our long weekend. The Hut has a hot powerful shower, toilet, log burner cooker fridge. Everything you need. Great location and stunning views. Lisa and Graham are the perfect hosts. We will definitely be coming back.
