Came in for a show round a few weeks ago and overheard a staff member saying that they wouldn’t allow her to go home, Despite her needing to go to get her medication as she was in pain due to her cancer. I have overheard other staff saying how management is neglected there health needs. I overheard other staff saying how poor the management was and how they are extremely unfair to staff as they change there shifts without telling them which caused them to get disciplinary meetings due to there ‘poor attendance’. Care assistants are lovely, very welcoming and attentive to Residents. The management on the other hand leave a lot to be desired. The fact that there is only a temporary manager as the real manager left with no notice says it all. The temporary manager is disrespectful to staff, changing shift without notice or notifying staff of changes and when tried to be contacted by staff via phone constantly told that they are not in or are unavailable. I can only speak in a professional capacity but I believe the management and staff always display both their competence and pride in providing a top notch home.

Visited my uncle Robert today, and he looks better than he has done in years! The staff seemed nice and friendly, and the place was obviously well looked after. I’m so glad he is in safe hands. Thank you Meadowbanks!
