I rented with McMillan for 4 years for PhD and was really happy with the service. The locaiton is amazing, the rent low and the room was large. Any issue such to do with the room was promplty dealt with.

I knew that the room I rented off of McMillan wasn't in the nicest property or the most spacious. What I did not expect was a kitchen with next to no space to store equipment or food, a thief who stole any food and alcohol left out and a company running the place who could not care less about their tenants. I stayed at a McMillan apartment for about a year in 2018 as an Erasmus student. I can confirm the other reviews. The owner Kenneth McMillan is probably the worst and rudest landlord of Glasgow, if not Scotland. He enters the property unannounced on a weekly basis, steals tenants' property if he deems the kitchen "messy" and behaves extremely aggressively towards the tenants if confronted with his disrespectful (and unlawful!) conduct.
