they apparently don't want our business~~ – Like a week ago, we went there and tried to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. But the time we walked in, we were standing next to the door and hoping some waitess will come to take us to sit. After 8 minutes of waiting, there were several waitresses who went by and looked at us like animals but didn't tell us what to do. Fun! – Great place to relax and party at the same time. I have visited many times for parties and always enjoyed myself! We even went on a ghost hunt!
Funky feast – Homesick. That's what it feels like to a San Franciscan. Funky decor with clashing motifs that mysteriously harmonize, it drips with character. Fries are fresh cut and cheap during happy hour. Get a burger, fries, and a sit down meal for about $5. Good Deal! Beer on tap and spacious interior make it a good hang out spot with friends.
feast your eyes and budget – You're greeted with an eclectic and artsy interior with room to kick back and have a brew with friends. Basic but good happy hour menu - you can have a burger and fries for about $5. Fries are hand-cut, soft, and tasty. House wine was decent, but remember it's not a wine bar! Service was good, prompt at first, but hard to get attention later. Probably because the bartender was solo.
Fun Local Pub! – We've been going to Ram's Head for many years and it never disappoints! Their beers on draft are really tasty, as is the food! I like their burgers and fresh-cut fries. It's a comfortable local place with lots of booths inside, plus tables outside for enjoying the local flavor on 23rd.
One bad apple – We were staying at Edgefield for my 40th birthday last weekend and we very excited to be back at Disney Land for adults. I have spent many weekends here enjoying the food, beer, golf and the great variety of pubs/restaurants. We were going to have a nice dinner at the Black Rabbit but they weren't taking reservations yet so we decided to have a drink while we waited and WOW! Pretty good stuff – Had a wonderful dinner at the Black Rabbit Restaurant. Have had many experiences at other McMenamins establishments in the past, from a beer or two to burgers etc, but this place is something completely different. Ordered warm crab and artichoke dip as a starter, which was really good! I had a smoked Rib Eye steak, which was the best I've had, ever. There was some kind of spicy butter on it- delicious. Great place – Small homey feel, nice fire-pit in the back. Great friendly atmosphere. Wonderful drinks and food.
