worse place to go to if u really are in need of help through ER.. However they are great for anything else such as ultra sounds, mri,lab work etc. but other then that I would get better emergency care at a veterinarian clinic
RecommendedThe wonderful care I just received from the ED to the 3rd floor observation. The nurses and doctors were very caring and all though they are busy they're patients are always #1. So I would like to thank Mary, Angie, Ann, MJ, and all the other nurses and Aides that gave me the best care. I have the utmost respect for all of you. I love McLaren Lapeer and will go back to them if ever needed again.
RecommendedTook my 6 year old daughter to the Emergency room this morning. She was very scared and nervous. Megan her nurse was amazing! She worked so well with her, and eased her nerves. She told her little secrets about the hospital, walked her through everything she was doing, and brought her popsicles. I am so thankful we had her as a nurse!!! Way to go Megan, you exceeded our expectations!!!!
Went to the ER on December 26, with pain in my leg. Told the nurse that I think it is a blood clot, had one 2 years ago. Quickly got a room. Received great care. Nurses, doctors, transporters were kind and told me everything to expect. 7 hours later, they were very busy, I went to the 2nd floor and had a room. Again I was taken care of. Was told what to expect during night, checking vials every 4 hours. Next day, given blood thinners, explained about them and how to avoid clots. Recommendedjust had a CT scan done and my anxiety goes up the roof with anything to do with the hospital. I had to do a prep bc im allergic to iodine. I went in the staff was nice but after having the iodine I started to freak out and thought my throat was closing and they called down a nurse and doctor. the nurse came right away and comforted me talked to me and actually listened to me and understood it was anxiety she didnt give meds for it she ACTUALLY TALKED TO ME to calm me down instead of just saying here take this. Been waiting over a month to get something done with my back and leg. When I finally get my dr to schedule an appointment for the procedure. The cath lab has cancelled my app twice in one day. I’m sure they are still doing procedures at this very moment. But yet mine keeps getting put off. I take days off work for these appointments yet no one at the hospital gives a crap. Horrible experience with McLaren.
RecommendedMy daughter was seen in ER and the staff was great and it was super quick. The staff were great with a scared and upset teen.
Recommendedall of the employees ate professional and courteous! I've had plenty of procedures over the past 4 years (I'm a cancer patient) and have all but respect for this facility!!
