Darwin is well worth the wait, I had got prices from 4 tarmac contractors and Darwin was the only one to suggest removing all the old tarmac and putting down a base layer and then a top layer. All the other contractors were going to put a layer over the top of the existing tarmac. Darwin came around 8 in the morning and the drive was completed around 5, all old tarmac dug up removed, small section of garden removed and kerb concreted in, base layer and top layer of tarmac laided. First class job. Tidy and well done. Delighted with our driveway.
The workmanship was fine, the guys on site were a pleasure to have around the house and all timeliness were adhered to. However this was offset by a failure to make good any snags, after invoice payment.... Over six months later and despite phone calls and texts and "ASAP" assurances I still await a satisfactory response. Gary Reddick
