"Smyrna Bakery" was opened in the late 1940's by Howard McEntyre Sr. in downtown Smyrna on Atlanta Road. The business was certainly a family affair as sons Howard Jr., Louis, and Wilson all worked in the bakery as well as Howard Sr.'s wife, Granny. After "Smyrna Bakery" closed in early 1954, Howard McEntyre Jr. opened the current "McEntyre's Bakery" in late 1959 which was also located on Atlanta Road in Smyrna just a few miles from the original store. I decided not to do a tasting before ordering my wedding cake because I'd purchased a cake from you all 3 years prior. After ordering my wedding cake I kind of wished I would have done the cake tasting only because my brain switched to Bride Brain lol. Once I saw the cake I cried. You guys gave me exactly what I wanted. Everyone barged about how great the cake tasted. Thank you for apart of my special day!

Shout out to McEntyres Bakery in Smyrna. Glennda Baker LeBlanc introduced me to this place. Outside of the food being really good, their customer service is outstanding. I was sitting in my car waiting for them to be open. It was 30 minutes before their scheduled open. They came out checked to see what I needed and got me my order! It's not every day you get that type of customer service!
Second time I've had your lunch specials and they are delish!!!! Can't wait to see what you have next week!!!

I cannot thank McEntyre's enough for my absolutely BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS wedding cake this weekend! All of my guests LOVED the cake and I cannot wait to finish off what little bit was left over in the next few days!
