"Smyrna Bakery" was opened in the late 1940's by Howard McEntyre Sr. in downtown Smyrna on Atlanta Road. The business was certainly a family affair as sons Howard Jr., Louis, and Wilson all worked in the bakery as well as Howard Sr.'s wife, Granny. After "Smyrna Bakery" closed in early 1954, Howard McEntyre Jr. opened the current "McEntyre's Bakery" in late 1959 which was also located on Atlanta Road in Smyrna just a few miles from the original store. My favorite bakery since I was a kid!! We love this sweet family and their bakery!!
I bought cupcakes for my daughters 17th bday and they were dry and the frosting wasn't good at all! I couldn't even get anyone to take extra home with them! Very disappointed!!!
I wouldn't imagine going anywhere else! The staff was amazing, especially Dee. I couldn't thank them enough for the most perfect My Little Pony cake for my daughters first birthday! Throughout my childhood there was never a holiday we didn't have a cake from here and I'm blessed to be able to pass that down to her. So thank you so much for being a part of such a pivotal moment in our lives and excelling all my expectations!!!
I've never been to the bakery, but I've had their cake squares a few times, and they are AMAZING! I'll definitely be finding some excuse to make the 3 hour trip to have them again!
McEnteyre's catered my birthday party with assorted sandwiches and absolutely delicious birthday cake. There was nothing left over it was all so yummy! Then my next door neighbors surprised me with two cake boxes filled with delectable treats from McEntyre's! It was a great birthday thanks to caring family, friends and you guys!!
We went by this week and Pearl provided the absolute best customer service. She was very engaging with all the customers. Very excited to be at work and always smiling. The soup was still great Pearl! See you next week to place a cake order.

My first time visiting McIntyre's Bakery but it will not be my last. The customer service was exceptional. Margo greated my family and I as soon as we walked in the door. She was awesome! The food was so good. The cookies are EVERYTHING!!! So glad I decided to eat there today.
Well about 4weeks ago i was kinda upset. Because I've been living in Marietta since 10/31/98, and i never heard about all the awesome lunch specials and choices. I have allot of catching up to do.
