I just had service done and asked them to check over the car as I was going on a long trip. They told me (and I knew) that I needed new tires. I picked the car up and went to a tire retailer. When they removed my tires they discovered a cracked shock that had rippled and worn out the tire. How did you not see this? It was cracked wide open. The wear was so bad that tire could have blown. Brought my 2012 chrystler 300 here for a front end noise. They replaced the struts and front end suspension for $937. I drove away with the same horrible noise! I brought it to Family Auto in Helmetta and they told me it was the sway bar. I had the car fixed for $190 at Family Auto and now the car runs great- no noise. Chrystler has really inexperienced mechanics and took me for all that money!
This past week we purchased our second vehicle from Route 18 Auto in the past year. While being totally satisfied with the vehicles, we are also very happy with the total experience (both times)! Went there for one of my free oil changes, gave my name as was told I had none left! Bought the car in December just have 3000 miles on the last change when dealer did it before I bought it! Also pre-existing problem he wanted me to pay the deductible. Thank god my salesman and the financial person remembered the problem. I’ll lose the second free oil change before I go back there for service! Also they didn’t wash the car that they do after having your car serviced.
