I love the Mayflower. Their comeback sauce is the best EVER, and I love the broiled seafood. They also have the best lemon icebox pie.
The Mayflower is a classic Jackson, Mississippi dining experience. The redfish Jane is the signature dish. Bring your own wine. It's great food.
I've lived in Jackson all my life before I moved to New Orleans and never visited the May flower cafe till Wednesday. I tried one of the lunch specials which was a baked catfish w/a side order of squash , a small piece of Cornbread and a roll with a buttered roll. Delicious lunch I've had there. Might be returning the next time make it back to Jackson.
Always a treat when I get to eat here when I am in town from Dallas
