We went to Matt's for the second time Saturday night and had the exact same rude greeting we did as the the first time. Our family of 10 was there to celebrate a birthday and the hostess immediately, rudely told us we couldn't sit together. Like she was annoyed that we even wanted to sit together. We just walked out with a group of 10 people because for the second visit the hostess was extremely rude from the minute we walked in, seemingly for having a big group. Should we apologize for spending at least $400 as a group for dinner? We will never go back to this restaurant, and will never recommend it to anyone else. I suggest owners find someone more friendly and accommodating to be the first person customers talk to. This was especially frustrating since we drove from lebanon to eat here for a family birthday.
Tonight, Ronnie and I met some friends at Matt's Steakhouse. As always, the food and service was great. I had three of my favorite things. Mushrooms, grilled shrimp, and bread pudding to go! Life is good!

In synopsis if you don't care to read the rest. Worst food and an even more horrific bar service. These people can only possibly still be in business because they ripe people off. Super classy place considering they are 2 blocks away from a strip club and have a flashing led sign. Recently my husband and I went here for a dinner event for work. This place was amazing only here in Rolla for 1 night glad we picked Matt's for dinner will come back anytime in town
I've been here many times and have always had excellent steaks! I had the ribeye today, but I've had the filet mignon and prime rib in the past--always great. The salad and breadsticks are also very good. Always good service.

Stopped here for dinner on the way back to Wisconsin ... Salmon Florentine was to perfection as was the ribeye! Definately will stop again when traveling thru!
