Me and my family went to the steak house last night for the first time with high expectations and a hunger for a great steak. When we sat down and opened menus we saw how high priced food was and figured it better be good. NOPE!!! The service was sloppy she checked on us once after taking our order. The 20 dollar steak was dry n overcooked had no taste, I should not have to put salt n pepper on a steak to get it to taste half decent. food is overpriced and tastes merely average. staff is incredibly condescending; i asked if i could get my pasta without mushrooms, and the waitress gave me a dirty look and said "the chef doesn't change his recipe" before walking away. the only good things are the salad and the bread.
Outdoes St. Elmo's in Indianapolis in quality of their steaks. Delicious!
Went to Matt's Steakhouse for a celebration lunch after my son's graduation from Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Steaks were just delicious and tender and the grilled Salmon was absolutely fantastic. And the bread pudding..... yuuuummmmy! Our server Leann was just phenomenal. Fantastic atmosphere as well.
Best restaurant in the area. Been going there since they opened. Met Cindy and Mat when they were 10th Street Diner in Rolla. Always great food and service.
Best steak ever and 1st time there but waiting on table for six and they ended up putting us in room by ourselves which was very cold and off from everyone else so getting our drinks refilled and bread sticks for our salad was slow but waitress was nice. Hope to go back again soon!
Chad provided excellent service. I had the Salmon Florentine and expected a white cream sauce as the menu stated it was a "cream" sauce. It came with a thin red sauce with cooked mushrooms and spinach. Could have had less spinach. My husband had the sirloin and it was perfectly cooked and had amazing flavor. We took a piece of bread pudding home to enjoy later. We love coming here since we had our wedding reception here 5 years ago March. Service and food is always good.
My daughter an I ate there this adternoon, the salad was the best part of the meal. We walked in an waited 10 minutes to be seated, im guessing they may have had 7 customers in the whole place, when the hostess finally showed up, she was not nice at all, an never apologized for making us wait, just seated us an walked off!
