JUICY LUCY South minneapolis establishment is well known for their award winning burgers, the juicy lucy. Two meat patty's with cheese in between. prices are a little high but well worth your money.highly reccommended
Matts Bar The AMAZING taste of the Jucy Lucy melts in your mouth. I love to bring my kids here, they know how a burger joint should be run! It is old fashioned but wonderfully-delicious and i would highly recommend it!
Don't count your calories here! This place is great! It's like an up north bar in the heart of Minneapolis. Any of the burgers and fries will satisfy your craving for good greasy food, without a ton of grease. It's nothing fancy, but bring your kids, get a burger and fries and try to make a trip down to the bathroom too. It's in the basement...and you don't want to try to make it there if you've had a few too many! Not your typical bar.
the only juicy lucy in town!! I grew up 6 blocks from here and have eaten juicy lucys my hole life. it is the best burger in town hands down!!
Did you say Jucy Lucy? Yes, it's spelled correctly. The original Jucy Lucy is available only here. Two burger patties wrapped around ooey gooey cheese. This is my all time favorite burger joint in the world!! My dad used to bring my sister and me here when we were little, we loved it then and we love it now! My kids love it here too!
Best around, yummyyyyy what ealse is there to say? Best burger in the hood! I used to work a few blocks away so i know the place real good! me and my co-workers used to come here often, and my big belly has a lot to do with Matts, LOL :)

place is a little run down, but it gives a really great atmosphere. staff is friendly, and the burgers are phenomenal. not to mention you get a LOT of fries if you order those.
Always wanted to see whose Juicy Lucy was the best. Girlfriend & I decided to try Matt's first, but didn't even get the opportunity. Went during off hours, only to find a line going out the door. The guy at the bar then barked at me, "READ THE GREEN SIGN ON THE DOOR!" For starters, who notices all the signs (especially somewhere they've never been before)?
