Our experience with Matthew James was multi faceted. Their communication is excellent, their team is polite and the moving crew were great too, with all our things arriving safely. Their prices are consistent with others in the market, their documentation is thorough and they are very attentive in answering any questions. Best movers of my life! They are very pro and polite. From the surveyor, to the liaison agent, to the team who pack! I have absolutely not a negative word to say about the whole process. And I have 25 years of experience moving every 4 years.

Matthew James put a thief in my bedroom who stole cash and jewellery. They broke valuable vintage items and have tried every dodge in the book to avoid paying out insurance. The guys didn’t follow instructions, refused to pack things properly that ended up broken and rushed so they could get home before the traffic! Each time they ask for more or different information for their “insurers”, changing the goalposts to delay and denying my legitimate claim!! Awful AVOID!!!!!!

I moved with Matthew James Removal Company in December, paying for insurance to ensure my belongings were protected during the move. Unfortunately, many expensive items were broken, and despite my efforts to reach out, the company has been ignoring my concerns. I have yet to receive any compensation or even a response regarding the damaged items. I am deeply upset and frustrated with the lack of professionalism and customer service. I would not recommend this company to anyone based on my experience.
