On first contacting Mathesons I spoke to Karen who was very very helpful and lovely. She gave me all the information I needed to decide whether I wanted to have someone out or not and I didn't feel rushed at all. Penetrating damp in 2 bedrooms was my issue. Overall, content with the completed work. Team showed up on time, worked cleanly and efficiently and communication was clear throughout, particularly when queries were raised on a couple of issues on reinstatement. Note that plastering reinstatement is only carried out on the part of the wall being worked on (this was pointed out by the company), but you might want to factor in the additional cost of plastering additional areas on a wall to ensure a smooth wall finish after repair... read more
