I was given a gift card to Massage Envy (ME) Slidell, for my birthday. I was very excited. I've had ME membership at another location and was very pleased with the quality of their services. I expected nothing less from another franchise. My appointment was for a deep tissue massage. My session was with Bao. I asked him was he doing a deep tissue massage. I have a Massage Envy membership and called this location to schedule appointments for my daughter and myself. I was curtly told by Carrie who answered the phone that I was bothering her by calling "at the top of the hour." After attempting again to get our appointments scheduled, she proceeded to tell me that "maybe this wasn't the best location for me" as she could not pull up my daughter's membership information and I was trying to clarify the information. We joined ME over 10 years ago and have been loyal, subscription paying members - we even voluntarily paid during the pandemic. Unfortunately my husband is still not comfortable returning to getting his monthly massages but ME refuses to transfer his credits to me (something we were told we could do when we signed our original contract). I'm sure the employees are great but the owner is anti-Montana and anti-customer service. The owner, Ashley Zemlick, out of Miles City, who is likely not from Montana given her lack of kindness and customer service. She acts like a petulant Californian at best. I booked a massage and then had to cancel because I was able to get a last minute opening of a booster shot. I was a new, brand new customer and she refused to let me cancel my appointment. Let's begin. I don't write reviews but after dealing with this company's poor ethics and terrible customer service I felt inclined. I'll start with, it takes a couple months to even get on the books.. therefore I asked to cancel my membership and was told I needed to use all my accrued hours before my cancellation or that it would just be money lost. I book an appointment with this location 4 days before the day of the appointment, Sunday, as they cancel us at 4 hours before. Then they made another appointment for Tuesday, today. Monday night they called to cancel again and we have no choice but to wait until Sunday.It’s so unprofessional from their end, when we cancel last minute, we get charge 50 % of the fee. However, when they do it, we need to take it. I will never recommend this place.

I visited the location in Miami Beach : 767 17th St, Miami Beach, FL 33139 This business doesn’t follow the Covid-19’s restrictions. Most of the employees (from the front desk and therapists) don’t wear a mask. Stefani King from the front desk has the Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in a spa/massage envy location. She’s rude towards the customers. I don’t recommend anyone to visit this location(unless you want to catch Covid/disrespectful behavior from the front desk employees.) 0 stars .
