Had to have my appendix removed this morning. It was my first surgery ever. The care and compassion the staff at Mass General have for their patients is truly amazing. They kept me well informed and extremely comfortable every step of the way! I felt like I was safe and in good hands the entire time. 3 hours after my operation they had me out the door and headed home well informed on the recovery process. Thank you very very much everyone at Mass General. You guys made a terrible situation as pleasant and easy as it could po... read more

I’ve been a patient here since 3/8/17 when I had a craniotomy for a meningioma (benign brain tumor). I can’t say enough about Dr. Brian Nahed, his NP Emily Stout, the infectious disease department(particularly Dr. Jacob Lazarus), anesthesiology, nursing staff, literally everyone involved in my care. I’ve needed additional surgeries (a craniectomy and a cranioplasty) and I always felt like I was getting the best possible care. I feel so fortunate to live just 30 miles away from some of the best medical care in the world! Than... read more

I went to MGH for my third hernia surgery within a year. Dr. Elan Witkowski took time to listen to all of my concerns from my pre operation appointment. Day of surgery everyone that was part of my case and took care of not only me but my wife. I had the best nurses while I was inpatient for the night I stayed in the hospital. I want to thank everyone who made my experience one of the best hospital experiences I have ever had.

My experience at MGH yesterday was world class. I was treated with dignity and respect from check in, to pre-op, during patient transport, at time of surgery, and post op. But mostly what stands out for me was how KIND everyone was! Thank you, Dr. Wakamatsu and team and the many people involved in my care! Partners Healthcare is the best! Thank you, MGH!
