Always happy with the quality, family-centered care my boys get at Mary Bridge!
Lily had emergency surgery at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital and the care was excellent. Lily loved nurse Julie! As did mom and dad and Gramma!
First review of anything ever but I feel the need to. My daughter was sent to emergency room Monday. We were seen almost immediately and never waited unnecessarily for anything including xray and sonogram. We were sent home with meds and instructions. We we given an appointment for Thurs for consult but she was admitted from there into hospital. Surgery was done and she was taken excellent care of. They didn't release her till she was ready. This is always my first choice when my kids need to go to the hospital! My son just had his tonsils out there yesterday and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The team was running ahead of schedule and we were only there for a total of 3 hours. I'm so thankful to have a place where I feel comfortable taking my kids when they need a specialist or ER visit.
Our 17 month old started with vomiting and diarrhea on Tuesday at 7:30 pm. By midnight he was doing worse. We took him to MB. Dr. Gallangher ?sp said it was just a virus and to keep him hydrated. Sent us home with Zofran. We were back around 8 pm Wednesday because he was lethargic, he wouldn't move, or eat or drink anything. Even on the Zofran he was throwing up. Our son broke his femur due to a tumor he had growing in the bone. The hospital nurses, doctors and staff were absolutely amazing, and went above and beyond in everything, they kept out minds at ease the best they could. There was a little waiting as to be expected, but the communication was great, we were always in the know of what was going on. Our son had every need and desire met and taken care of. My baby got transfered here when he was born and the nurses on the shifts in the NICU for those five days were so amazing. They helped as much as they could and made me feel much more at ease. Were always checking in on me and him
