The former New York Giants baseball player William G. Martin opened this neighborhood pub in 1933. Today his grandson, Billy Martin runs the family business. Dark wood paneling and touches of hunter green make for an attractive interior. Stopped by this place on a whim. The Sheppard's pie was delicious and the older gentleman behind the bar was making some great drinks
Good food and good people. There was some crazy MAGA guy throwing a fit though. Martin's Tavern staff was ready to take action if necessary it seemed. Scotch was okay too.
