I always stay at Marriott properties, I was so surprised when last night a friend that came to see me was robbed at gun point in the Marriott parking lot. We were told they did not have a security guard! She was lucky they only took her money. A police report was filed, also an incident report was done with the hotel
My boyfriend booked us a couple massage at the Spa for my birthday. This also included access to the beach front pools, jacuzzis and bar! We relaxed and the pool and in the sauna before our massage, which was nothing less than amazing! We will definitely be back!
Disappointing stay .... as a platinum guest the property has not stayed up to par with other Marriotts. They lack amenities, no concierge lounge, you have to pay for chairs around pool. The excuse on amenities was that they are a resort? Called the front desk on day of arrival about issues with our room that was booked a month ago and still no response from front desk management within 24 hours. There must be a big list of quality issues.
We bought 10 years ago. Never regretted it. This company cares. We come back every year. We have signed up for more.
My wife, two young sons and I just returned from a little Fall getaway and chose this lovely place to stay for the first time. We absolutely loved our balcony suite and adjacent room for the boys and the hotel, staff, pools, amenities, restaurants, access to the beach, all of it. The only reason it got 4.5 stars and not 5 was because something as simple as having access to ordering a variety of movie choices for children or adults was non-existent. A picturesque view and beautiful hotel. Attended a business conference here. The food was maxing! I want to come back with my husband for a weekend getaway.
