Mark took our rough designs for a bespoke cabinet and worked with us on the final design before building and installing our cabinet. When one of the shelves bowed a little under the weight of books he returned and suggested several fixes one of which he then implemented at no extra cost - it was important to him that we were happy with the product. We are very happy with the finished product. Mark was a very courteous and considerate person when working in our home. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
My children are amongst the beneficiaries of some of Mark's work, courtesy of their grandparents. A rocking horse... of sorts... it’s remarkable. Dare I say it, it is also robust enough to shoulder my 100kg (and change) frame. Highly recommended.
Mark Stamp can undertake major carpentry projects if needed, but came up with an ingenious solution to a small practical problem for me. When the metal struts supporting my built-in kitchen bin failed (for the second time), the manufacturer offered to supply another set of sub-standard replacements - for £200! Mark came up with a much better option using marine ply - one that I can tell will be a permanent solution - for a fraction of the cost. Quality work, very nice to work with, skilled and reliable. Mark was amazingly patient and helpful whilst we decided what we wanted from the free-standing kitchen cabinet he had agreed to make for us. His knowledge and creativity enabled us to explore lots of different possible options before reaching a final decision.
