One of the few shops on the Walworth Road that make you feel like you're living in a civilised area. Very sad to see it go. It'll be an Aldi or Lidl no doubt or an underwhelming Primark.

Came here to drop off a returns item using a barcode I had already obtained online; did not have the original packaging so I decided to ask the two ladies at the clothing section desk for a bag to drop off the item. They proceeded to exercise the little authority they possess, by frantically examining the item to find a reason to reject a piece of clothing that had only been tried on once, and was in pristine condition, with intact tacking stitches and the still-connected box of spare buttons. Pretty disappointed in them for the first time. I bought a pair of jeans 6 months ago.. now I understand that it's a fair bit of time. However, the zip broke, so I took them back in the hope they would replace them or give me a voucher.. they declined... Now all she had to say was it was not company to accept returns without proof of purchase and there would be nothing I could really do. My local store, I go to buy the food as the quality is always high. Its one of the older stores and money has been spent to update the look and feel. Customer service is always good. March 2024 Please support they are planning to close the store in June, this is a vital part of the area, if shopping lifting is the main reason try and get some good security staff as some of them are useless and too busy chatting on the phones
