They kept a large part our deposit, which we didn't think they should have. We sued in court. They lost. They never paid. Throughout the time we rented with them, they lied and had terrible communication. Stay as far away as you possibly can.
Do not do business with these people, we told them the homeowner kept breaking into the house we were renting and they did nothing. They stole our deposit even after the inspector said that there was no damages to the house after we moved out. They rarely answer phone calls and take days if not weeks to respond to emails. For a realty company they are always on vacation and hard to reach to resolve issues. Worst company ever. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MARKETPLACE HOMES.

STAY AWAY. Property Manager was extremely rude to me as the homeowner, who was paying for their services. They failed to do the basics of their job. They did not get tenant to formally sign documents, they did not create a lease for tenant, the did not collect rent... and they werent even able to make a duplicate key to have access to the home. Could not tell you what I paid for. There are better options, everywhere.
The individuals I worked with were great(Carol Fedak, John Fabirkiewicz) but the company business practices far from perfect, so1 star is all I give the company which does not reflect the individual just the company practices. Investors and landlords make sure you oversee the property management company to protect your investments and business. WORST PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. UNPROFESSIONAL, CHILDISH, AND THIEVING CEO AND VP. I hired Marketplace Homes to manage one of my rental properties. I planned to hire them to manage additional properties if they performed well with the first. Marketplace Homes failed miserably. I cancelled my rental listing after 2 weeks and no pictures. I had someone ask to buy the house and they told the buyer it was not for sale, only for rent. I checked their website and they have garage sale items listed the the homes they have listings on. Their listings are all over the US even though you search for a specific area. They don't deserve any star. They promise a lot and deliver nothing. Engage this company to find a tenant for your property if you don't mind felons living in your home. This company is poorly managed and doesn't communicate well with homeowners. I sustained over $25,000 loss by letting a tenant screened by this company to live in my house. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
My husband and I moved into a house and nine months later the owner decided to sell it and take it back from market Place, now we have three months to move , Even though we had a two year lease ,They say it is nothing they can do ,how can you play with peoples lives like this ,people just don’t move every year
