I honestly was scared to death when my shoulders kept hurting. My MD referred me to Dr. Schultzel. He gave me cortisone shots in both shoulders which helped for a while but ultimately I had to have replacement surgery. Dr. Mark Schultzel and his team were incredible throughout my Achilles repair journey. From the initial consultation to post-op care, he was knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in my recovery. I’m now back to my normal activities thanks to his skill and guidance. I couldn’t be more grateful.
Who would have thought that surgery could have been this easy? Dr Schultzel is not your usual surgeon. Although very talented and highly skilled, he is also very kind, caring and personable. Because of his focus on pain management, my recovery was relatively low pain and I healed very quickly. Because of previous experiences with surgery recovery, I was really dreading this surgery but this was so easy in comparison. Thank you Dr. Schultzel.
Dr. Schultzel was very professional and explained my treatment plan from start to finish, his staff’s performance was also outstanding. Repaired an old shoulder injury and got me back to feeling good again.

I had a massive tear in rotator cuff Dr Schultzel explained all the options, listened to my concerns, showed me the x-rays and explained exactly what he would be doing to make the repairs. Surgery went well and five months later I'm going back to work as a mechanic!
Mark is an expert but also extremely nice - I’ve worked with other surgeons before but he’s super responsive, does a great job answering questions, and is clearly an expert professional. I wish I went to Mark for my prior ops as well but would recommend him to anyone needing surgery and that might have a lot of questions!
Mark Schultzel is amazing! It was an awesome experience, his Front desk staff Lee made it so easy to setup the appts and follow up, with an amazing attitude and knowledgeability . Mark was very knowledgeable, friendly and most of all made me feel that I can reach out anytime. He got me setup with the correct plan from PT to medication if needed, I'm now pain free and very grateful!! Thanks again Mark!!
