Excellent professional service. An oak floor was looking tired and needed to be sanded and lacquered. Now looks fabulous.
Brilliant experience dealing with Mark Antony & Sons to renew a neglected parquet floor that was covered in carpet when we bought the house 6 months ago. We booked Mark's company to do the work mainly due to the ease of answering our many questions and a fair & competitive price to do the work. We used Mark Antony and Sons to restore a rather tired oak hall floor and open staircase. Mark's team (his son and son in law) did a great job stripping the wood back and then wax oiling the new surface with a satin finish. The communication prior and during the works was 1st class. The work over 2 days (to allow drying) was meticulous, almost totally dust free, and carried out in a friendly and professional manner. We are extremely pleased with the outcome and highly recommend Mark and his team.
Magicians! The original British Columbian Pine in our 1930’s house had never been sanded and had been covered by carpet for 50+ years. It was dirty, covered in plaster and bitumen. The team restored it beautiful and lacquered it with a nice mid-sheen. It honestly had completely transformed our house. We love it. The team were polite and communicative, and went above and beyond to get our floors looking fantastic.
Massive thanks to Mark and George. My wife initially contacted Mark Anthony & Sons to look at and fix some water damaged parquet we had around our front door which we inherited from the previous owners our house. It proved to be a bigger job than we anticipated, we had contacted other more local "experts" beforehand and they would only fixing the parquet and we needed a separate contractor to fix the concrete under the parquet before they would do anything.
