This complex is a fine alternative to ocean-themed parks like San Diego's Sea World. Here, you can view sick or injured seals and sea lions rehabilitating in preparation for their return to the ocean. The center, run by two full-time staff members and a number of volunteers, caters primarily to California Sea Lions, Northern Elephant Seals, Northern Fur Seals and Harbor Seals. The center also has a gift shop and exhibits with materials intended to educate the public about marine mammals. Admission is free.

Always working so hard! Thank you for all you do for the precious marine life!
Staffed partly by dedicated volunteers they truly care about the seals and sea lions they rescue. They try to release them back into the wild whenever possible but the times they can’t they find an organization willing and able to take the mammals.

They came into existence in the early 90s and now 2020 they need our help. They are in crisis to raise a million by June 2020. Please give if you are able every little bit counts even $5 it adds up. Please help, if you dont believe me take a trip here yourself; Its open to the public and watch them everyday in action. LA proud, to have them here helping all of our preci... read more
