This was the best in service, beauty, and assistance. Catherine helped with my disability needs way beyond and requirement she needed. I will not stay elsewhere when in Chicago. Thank you!
A gem of a hotel. It used to be a boarding house for women, chaperones and all! Rich in history, the renovation has retained the old world charm. The continental breakfast is to die for, with marvelous pastries and homemade greek yogurt second to none -- so thick that I thought it was cream cheese! Rooms are not large, but comfortable. Our bathroom was huge, though. The elevators are "old-world" but that adds to the charm.

Quaint, cozy and personal, like a true European inn. If you're looking for chrome and glass modernity, go elsewhere.
Charming, charming & more charming! Upon being greeted by Katherine & Scott we knew we had come to the right place! Lovely guest room with romantic old world style furnishings & bedding. Modern, well-appointed bathroom. Gorgeous french doors & floor to ceiling windows make their parlour the perfect place to begin your morning... and those pastries, wowzers! Enjoyed our stay last winter. Rooms are so comfortable, breakfast was excellent, and location was convenient. Only problem is the clunky old elevator; authentically cool but the door is very heavy.
