Dr Marc Umlas replaced my hip may 12, 2020. And from that moment I had NOT had a bit of pain. I was amazed. I believe that Dr. Umlas is a brilliant surgeon. The scar is about 3 inches and it is not black and blue. It is minimal. I am so happy with the result. I am walking with only a cane and progressing so rapidly. No pain since the surgery!!!!! May 26,2020

Marc Umlas is an arrogant surgeon with a penchant to highlight his self-portrayed superiority to the point that he will paint a catastrophic clinical picture so he can come out looking like a hero when all is said and done. He told me I needed a pelvic transplant and that my hip revision surgery required a vascular surgeon by his side to prevent my "bleeding to death", he reassured me he was "the only surgeon" who could perform the "at least ten-hour surgery". He mentioned "a pill" would have prevented my revision surgery. H... read more

Wonderful experience. The best of the best. He did a "superior approach" total hip replacement and i walked the same day! less than a day in the hospital! I couldn't be happier. All the residents in my complex use him. I cannot thank him enough.

Easily the single best Orthopaedic Surgeon in the State of Florida. He is an expert on Hip and Knee Replacement, especially minimally invasive and new technologies. He is Harvard Trained. He saved my Mother's knee after she had several operations up in Broward. Thank you Dr. Umlas.

Dr. Umlas has replaced both my hip and knee. I had an amazing recovery and an incredible experience. He is kind, empathetic and skillful. I find his bedside manner to be terrific, he is also very very funny. i give him my highest recommendation
