I'd give them 0 stars if I could. Worst customer service ever.... We've been in conversation with 2 "managers"??? who, since they know they have no contract with us to stand on, just stop responding to us. Meanwhile we keep piling up late fees for a bill they have no right to charge us. Literally, NO ONE will even speak to us from the company.
They price gouge there customers! They have no customer service skills at all. I would prefer to give them no stars but it made me give at least 1..
Speaking with the office staff Debra is exhausting due to she never allows you to speak she always speaks over top of you. If you request to have the Manager Matt Greene give you a call he never does. Then if you request to go over the billing due to the online invoice does not match what is being advised of the office it is TERRIBLE. Total rip off make you agree to a contract that say's they can do what ever they want. I had a 500 gal tank for a long time they all ways seemed to charge me more. I became disabled the min. fill on the large tank was $600 they said because the tank was so large. It took years but I finally got them to bring out a smaller tank. Now I called to refill the 250 gal tank guess what $600 min fill. Why because it is a smaller tank. I honestly don't know how this company stays in business. They charged me $4.85/gallon on a 200 gallon delivery. This is more than twice the market price for propane in our area. Switching suppliers as fast as possible. Buyer beware. They cannot tell how they arrive at their pricing but they just hope you don't notice. After numerous calls they agreed to lower the price approx $1.00 but then they just move on, business as usual. The absolute worst company to deal with. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Not only is their service not reliable (one serviceman refused to fill the tank because there was some dog poop on the lawn, not even close to the buried tank) but then they charged us extra because he had to come back. Don't even get me started with the tank rental charge. We originally signed up with People's Gas 25 years ago which was bought by AmeriGas about 10 years ago. If I could leave "0" stars I would. Amerigas (Sawyer Gas) at the 4110 University Blvd. Court Jacksonville, FL . 32217 address is THE WORST PLACE AND UTILITY COMPANY EVERY. First, they incorrectly charged me $186. These charges were from the previous tenant. Upon letting them know (I spoke to Crystal), they said not to worry. Amerigas is the biggest ripoff propane company ever. Just got propane today. 8/16/18 got 166 gallons. They charge me 4.83 a gallon. They said because i use less they have to charge me more. I wish someone would look into this. I know i am not the only one.
When I bought a new home, I changed propane suppliers at the suggestion of the previous owner who said that Amerigas Propane was "difficult" to deal with. After the new company set the old tank aside, I called Amerigas and they said they would pick up the old tank "within 30 days". At the end of the 30 days, I called back and was told the "next available day" for pick up was another 3 weeks away. This tank is sitting in my ONLY guest parking space.
