One of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. They have NO customer service. They do not answer the phone. They do not respond to electronic mail on their site (which they push and say is their preferrred way of communicating. There is no physical address either. No way to get one's needs met. Didnt respond properly during recent ice storm. Agents were great, but weren’t able to get results. 10% still no propane
This is the worst company to deal with in any category. No customer service at all regardless. You cannot find a way to talk to them at all not matter what. I ordered a delivery on 2/8/2021 to cope with the winter ice rain and storm. We were scared to run out of propane and fell into the situation of power outage. They projected a delivery 2/10 to 2/23. This company is crap. We spent HOURS and put in over a HUNDRED tickets to get someone to fill starting NOV 09 2020 till NOV 30 to finally get an answer that i had to fix my propane tank. I fixed it Dec 10th and it took till DEC 30th TO GET ANYONE TO COME VERIFY IT WAS FIXED! through that time i had to use electric heaters so my heat bill skyrocketed to $500! I am currently on auto fill and was pending an order for over 2 months. I was forced out of propane and was told sorry for your luck. Then was charged over $900 for a single fill. This company is breaching contracts and does not care. Also will not answer the phones or reply to emails.
What a terrible company. I live in the mountains of western North Carolina. You see, our natural gas tank is ... in the ground. Our natural gas is supplied by Amerigas. ( Or supposed to be. ) No other company could, or would put gas in it. ( Not allowed, I guess. ) My mother called on a Monday at around 9:30 am, and asked to have an emergency delivery. This company has no idea as to how bad their service turns out to be. Lengthy waits to talk with customer service who are plesant enough but can,t seem to really help. They just put notes with the file, sent a message to the local office and then hope for the best. Ran out of propane in Jan and had to call for for an emergecy delivery at 5 am. Amerigas has become the absolute worst company to meet home hearing needs. They tell you to call when your at 30 precent but it takes them 3 weeks to deliver. Current I have prepaid for propane was told it would be delivered within a 2 week time frame. Called them because I was going to run out if they didn't deliver by the date they specified was told I was scheduled for delivery that day,. They never showed up. Customer service has no idea why. WOST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ALL TIME!!! Takes over 40 mins to get anyone on the phone and then they don't follow through with what they say. Their techs over charge and seem irritated to come perform any service and apparently nobody from the office even explained to them why they were coming out. NEVER USE AMERIGAS!!!!
