Malaga Inn is a quaint, privately-owned boutique hotel which was originally built as a residence in the year 1862. Although it underwent several renovations before opening to the public as a hotel and a venue for hosting events, several of the historic rooms were left intact. Today, guests can choose to stay in these charming old chambers or in rooms which face the beautiful courtyard garden. Weddings and receptions can be hosted in these fairy-tale gardens or in the opulent banquet halls inside. Whether it is a business tra... read more

The staff is so nice. When we checked in our air was not working well the maintenance guy was right on it. He spoke with the front desk and came back and said they was moving us to the presidential suite.
I loved this place before I even entered. It was so pretty all lit in the covered walkway. Emma st the desk was so friendly I felt like I knew her. The parking was a bit tight, but the interior of the hotel was all Southern charm. My room was spotless and beautifully decorated. Bed was comfy and the entire suite was a delight. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I wanted to stay much longer.
Spent the night here and had Macie give us a historic tour of this place. I recommend this place if you are coming to Alabama. Can’t wait to come back. The staff is very friendly.
The Malaga Inn is a beautiful historic hotel in a prime downtown Mobile location. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Rooms are spacious, clean, and really give you a sense of southern history and charm. Great Job Malaga Inn, thank you for a pleasant stay.
If your looking for a down home place that’s different than any other hotel you have stayed... this is the place you want to be, all of the historical southern living you can imagine. The staff there is amazing and it’s not every day you can talk to the owner of the hotel like you have known him forever! We had a little issue when we first arrived with our room being locked and not accessible. This wasn’t an issue for Malaga Inn though they took care of our needs and got in in a room and even refunded our upgrade. Thanks aga... read more
This hotel had so much character and just the place you want to stay when you love the great history of Mobile! It had clean rooms, friendly staff, the breakfast was delicious, walking distance to downtown, and it had a wonderful bar of its own! My wife and I had a lot of fun in the bar with the locals! We will be staying here every time we come to Mobile if it’s available!
Very nice historic hotel in Mobile. Be sure to ask if someone is available to give you a tour, as well as the tunnel beneath the hotel. Breakfast is amazing and staff are top notch. I stayed before and after my cruise, and if I cruse out of Mobile again I will definitely be staying at Malaga Inn.
