RecommendedI've only partook of the full/medium size alkaline powered and usually not on alks.No problems .The switch is well designed ,functional ,with good action.QC is great.Wish a glass lens was standard.USA made and a good product.
Stop backing up on your warranty. Stand behind it. I have one and i have had trouble with it off and on for some time now. Batterys leak (i use good ones) switch went bad, whats next. To be honest id like a new one. This one has a serial number of 03020079650. My name is Larry Smith PO Box 88 Urbana In 46990. For what i hav epaid out in batterys i could have gotten a new one. No more D cell ones ill go back to C cells, 3 or 4 battery one

I have used Maglites since I bought my first two, 3 and 4 cell originals, during a trip to Seattle. The company did go through a period of stagnation but they have emerged from that stronger and more innovative than ever. I would like to see even more rechargeable models offered, preferably a series along the lines of the Streamlight Stingers, and also some lights made of high impact plastic. Thanks so much Maglite!

Aus alten Zeiten ging ich davon aus, dass Maglite Qualitätsprodukte herstellt und habe mir zwei LED XL50 gekauft. Egal mit welchen Batterien oder Akkus, die Laufzeit beider Lampen ist katastrophal schlecht. Außerdem hat eine der zwei Lampen binnen kürzester Zeit Probleme mit dem Schalter gemacht, trotz fast neuer Batterien schimmert die LED nur noch leicht. In der zweiten Lampe funktionieren dieselben Batterien dann aber. Zweimal untauglicher Schrott für teures Geld, während vergleichbare, aber erheblich günstigere Chinalamp... read more
