I used to be a Mag-Lite fan but I've had two flashlights with corroded batteries get stuck in the flashlight. Trying to get the batteries out results in damage to the flashlight rendering it useless.

Got the 3 D cell LED, big disappointment, says spot to flood adj., and its all a blur....just a let down overall.

The switches are a piece of shit in Mag Lite Pro LED. Can't get live response from Maglite without paying fee in advance. What does that tell you?
Simply the best flashlights money can buy.Very tough and very bright.specially the new LED ones.
I've been using my 4D cell maglite for at least 10 years, maybe more. Today I had to change the lightbulb. Here's to another 10 years!
