Maglight has great flashlights that seem to be the best match of price, construction, durability, weatherproof resistance, multi-purpose use, style, availability of different models, availability in LED and non-LED bulbs, being good survival equipment, and devotion to their customers.
In 1987 I bought my first 3 D cell Mag-Lite, I used it for several years in the military and a dozen years for my Mountain Rescue work as well as my normal domestic use. About 15 years ago I changed the bulb and today I replaced the switch cover button, why didn’t anyone tell me how high maintenance Mag-Lites are?!!?
I think I have had this light for at least 28 years. It’s really heavy for size weights 6 1/2 ounces. I was told it was 24 kit gold plated when given to me as a gift. It was made in CA. Was wandering if anyone could tell me if this was promotional light or any other information on it!
My favorite flashlight!
I thought the big D cell battery flashlights were supposed to be tough, but it failed after falling off my car.
