I'm on an extended stay in Mexico, and ordered a Maglite 2D cell, from Amazon.com.mx, and when I cut open the shrinkwrap, the little rubber button fell to the floor! Very disappointed with such shoddy quality control. It is not worth it to me to send it back, so I'll just use black electrical tape over the switch, and tell everyone who sees it how Maglite has gone to the dogs.
Biggest pos made. Never have one last even with very light use. Owned around 6 Maglites of different sizes and they all stopped working. While other brands I've owned are still going. Save you money and don't get a pos Maglite.

Mag-Lite what can I say I have a 2d led maglite which has been great I ordered a new switch due to my own user error lol I have a 3d mag lite that my dad used to carry out towing cars and repoing I converted it to led love those lights so much I have a 4 d maglite that was already converted to led that is great that I found in a car under the seat I have a led pro aa mag thats almost as bright as my streamlight hl series the battery life is fantastic the only ones I have had fail me are battery corrosion which is an easy fix... read more

I'm a mag lite fan. They're strong and powerful, indicated when you are in car
I had an incandescent Maglite that was nearly indestructible. After 20+ years, I was forced to replace it. I bought a LED model because it was the only style I could find. The batteries corroded in a few months and customer service told me to pour vinegar in the barrel to get them out. I’m pretty sure that would void the warranty. I’ll try another one but then I’m done.
Terrible customer service. Why should I pay shipping for a product that came out of the packaging defective? Rude customer service reps as well.
they sell products that suck then they wont honer there warrantee
