So far, the service is SLOW and unattentive. We got our jersey chips and they are rock hard (not crispy), ROCK HARD. Our server hasn't come over once since dropping them off even seeing us push the plate to the end of the table and not touching them for 10 minutes. It's not even busy. Not coming back here again. #awfulservice #badserver #nastychips

Food was good and the margaritas did the job didn’t like that I couldn’t have a beer and margarita at the same time but I guess they had problems in the past
Always a great dining experience! Staff is friendly and accommodating, food is superb. I highly recommend the “Angry Hippie”.
Stopped in for lunch and a beer. Ordered a Southern Tier 2XMAS at 8.5% alcohol and $7 and a Spicy Mad Mex Burrito. The beer was very good but I have to limit myself to 1. The burrito is delicious! It's very spicy w a hint of ghost pepper (def not for the non- spice appreciating crowd) but I can tell I'm gonna taste this burrito for hours... I like that. Food 5*, Service 4*, wish I could give them the 4.5 stars they deserve for this visit.
I love Mad Mex. The location is perfect. As a vegan, I really appreciate the non-dairy options/alternatives. Every time someone visits me, I take them here. Just one recommendation....I tried to order the Potato Taquitos, and I could not get them because they are pre-made in the morning (they contain cheese, which I cannot eat). So, I think that there should be a vegan option for that.
Fun waitstaff and bartenders! Great food and service, too. Will be back! The Vegan options are impressive!
