I don't normally need services from solicitors. Recently, I need my degree to be notarised for visa application purpose. I contacted Machins and one of the solicitors got in contact with me saying no problem they will send an email with the requirements. I replied the same day providing all necessary documents, also stated the urgency due to the approaching travelling period. Firstly solicitors and legal battles are very costly. Generally if you are needing a solicitor emotions are going to be high. Remember how you feel in the moment will not be how you feel after the event is over. If you can mediate please mediate.
