BEWARE! WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! – Our 1Tb Time Capsule failed - bad power supply. The solution(Per Apple): remove drive - place in new enclosure and transfer files. Horrible horrible experience- do not trust this company!!! – I took my mac in recently, after receiving an estimate on the phone from the technician. I was merely transferring data from old computer to new one, and they offer a flat-rate price for this. After 2 days of no communication from their office, I called and was told that my computer was ready. File recovery perfectly successful – I experienced some data loss recently and completely panicked. I took my drive to Austin Mac Repair and was not optimistic, but I felt I had to try to recover the files instead of embarrassing myself with my client. Horrendous customer service – My husband took his G4 here to find out why it was shutting down intermittently -- sometimes after a few hours, sometimes after a day, etc. The next afternoon, we got a call from the tech saying that he'd had it on since 8:00 that morning, it hadn't shut off, and we could come pick it up. Finally, An Honest Mac Repair Service! – I couldn't be happier with the good people at Mac Repair. I'm very high-tech challenged and Les has gotten me out of trouble with my old Mac, my iBook which I purchased from Mac Repair for an excellent price!, and my new iMac. Well, I was pleased – I took my mac here last week, it was turning itself off at the oddest times. The people at Austin Mac Repair were friendly, helpful and honest. No, they didn't repair it for free, but they did tell me exactly what it needed, how long it would take and how much it would cost, broken down into parts, labor, shipping and tax. They didn't do any work till I told them to. I got it back the day it was promised. My mac works like a charm now. I recommend Austin Mac Repair.
