Like others, I went to see Dr. Madigan and left feeling like this man is arrogant and treated me very poorly because of my weight. I was diagnosed with severe stenosis and told that I needed to try a epidural shot even though there was little hope of it working. The shot caused such severe pain that I was referred to Dr Madigan. I have not been able to do anything at all that I am not in severe pain. I can not sit, stand, walk, work, enjoy my children, go places or have any kind of a normal life. Helped with major pain. No meds nor pain. Wonderful bedside manner
Dr. Madigan did back surgery to relieve pressure on the nerve going down my leg. Words cannot express how please I am with the results of the surgery and the treatment that I received from Dr. Madigan and his staff. I would recommend him and Knoxville Ortho. to anyone who wants the best of care.
One of the most arrogant physicians I have ever met. Talked down to me and told me to live with the pain.
I had an Anterior Discectomy with Fusion on 12-7-18 and Dr. Madigan far exceeded my expectations. He was very straightforward in my consultation and made me feel much more comfortable knowing that I needed to move forward and have this done. The surgery was not only super successful but the recovery was much easier than expected as well. I would highly recommend having this surgery if you are in need and honestly wouldn't go to anyone other than Dr. Madigan.
I thought my problem was my back but Madigan told me immediately that it was my hip a took care of my problem.
Dr. Madigan is a caring and compassionate surgeon. He is not quick to suggest surgery. He works with you to determine the most effective treatment option. At six weeks post-op, from a microdiscetomy, I am able to explore caverns with my husband, plan my daughter's wedding, and enjoy life again! Dr. Madigan improved my quality of life!
excellent results from back surgery, pain free
This will sound corny but Dr. Madigan gave me my life back! I had suffered with pain from bone spurs in my neck for years and when it finally came time to do the surgery I met him and knew he would be the person to help me. Very pleased with my neck surgery. Very knowledgeable, courteous, and most importantly, great at what he does. I plan on using him again should I ever need surgery again!
