December 31st 2005 was the last night for the popular and fun Pelican Club in Cape May. It was our landlord’s decision to turn that space into condominium units (a trend that is all too familiar on the east coast shore towns, but that is a whole different story), so we (the Pelican Club Family) had to move on. Friendly knowledgeable staff, outstanding craft beer selection. Great food, have yet to have a bad meal. highly recommend the that mussels.

My family and friends ate here last night. 4 of the 7 people in our party ordered the Prime Rib spacial. When the dinners came out I was shocked at the color of these pieces of meat they looked gray... we questioned the waiter.. his answer was they were "steamed" to heat.. well all four pieces were not cooked to what they had requested Medium ,medium rare. The meat was so bad no one could eat it we complained and they took the dishes away. NOT once did a manager or someone come to our table to apologize or even question what... read more
