December 31st 2005 was the last night for the popular and fun Pelican Club in Cape May. It was our landlord’s decision to turn that space into condominium units (a trend that is all too familiar on the east coast shore towns, but that is a whole different story), so we (the Pelican Club Family) had to move on. Always our first stop in Cape May . My girl needs her fried oyster fix and I enjoy the Bloody Mary's . Great staff and food .
Was in recently with my wife for our anniversary. She had her favorite, the Mussels and Pasta dish, and I had the Clams and Linguini. Great as usual. Then found out they had Mad Elf on tap. A bonus. Shared a dessert. Our favorite place.
Stopped in for lunch when in Cape May for a day trip to go exploring. We had a delicious lunch at the bar. Shelly was our awesome server/ bar tender. Would definitely go back again!
Vast gluten free menu. Loved the fireplace the server Lauren was the best ever.
