December 31st 2005 was the last night for the popular and fun Pelican Club in Cape May. It was our landlord’s decision to turn that space into condominium units (a trend that is all too familiar on the east coast shore towns, but that is a whole different story), so we (the Pelican Club Family) had to move on. Lucky Bones Good drink and food selection. Everything we ordered was delicious...especially the mussels. It's a great place to go when the Lobster House across the street is too full...
Good food but a bit noisy Good food makes up for a noisy, bustling atmosphere. Go in the off hours for a quieter experience. Very friendly waitstaff. Very good food.
Great Pizzas Always busy. A great place to gather. they serve cold beer. Excellent gourmet pizzas .... especially seafood pizzas!
Great food and environmentally friendly attitude They serve alot of sandwiches, soups, nachos - stuff like that. Alot of seafood dishes of course. Servings are very large (more for leftovers!). In their restrooms, they mention being environmentally conscious. THey use hand blowers that use much less energy and are much more effective than the usual you find in public restrooms.
