David in the Lumbar and Mill department saved the day for me today! After a long day of moving into my home, the back screen door's handle broke! After searching four stores, I was lucky enough to connect with David who went out of his way to search an obscure location of the store to locate my unique replacement part. What good is an LAR Account if the return clerk won't scan it to check an item? I had to have my wife find the receipt at home and phone me the transaction ID and item number. seems like the manager is trying to keep us from being able to return items without a receipt....the LAR card was supposed to replace the "my Lowes"' and my gold card... I need to find someone to get this nonsense to STOP. Thank you Ryan and Josephine for being complete bureaucrats..,. hard to work with and unreasonable.
Yet again I make another purchase here and the package has been ransacked , previously installed and missing parts again. I have lost all will to spend another dime at lowes. I didn't mind spending the extra money to shop here but the last 2 years the service as well as the products you pit out to sell have fallen by the way side. Very disappointing to say the least.
ATTENTION ALL VETERANS! Unless you are active duty or retired, Lowe's will only HONOR your discount 4 DAYS A YEAR. Home Depot is getting my business until they change this policy. Shame on you.
