I was in Lowes in Greenwood last night, Thursday, June 29. I was going to buy some flooring. I had to wait 45 minutes for someone to help me. Even when the manager was called, he never showed up. I even called customer service using my cell phone, I still did not get any help. Next I went over to look and buy a bathroom mirror. I turned the sign on letting someone know I needed help. They need to close the doors, they are always out of everything!
Great products but poor poor customer service. My son in law waited almost an hour at service desk to pick up an item that was too heavy for me to handle. He had to listen to staff complain about no breaks and people calling out. That is not the customers fault and that simply should not happen. My wife recently went there to shop for new countertops. Do not buy extended warranties from Lowe's in Greenwood. They talked us into a $200 extended warranty on our lawn mower then when we had a problem and tried to utilize the program, they could not find anyone to fix it. On top of that, the refund we were finally offered was pro-rated, which I dont understand since we were sold something that truly was not available from the get-go but we were lead to believe it was. Was lectured when I asked for the veteran discount that is given to my grand father. I was told what military ids are and how they work and that I am not a veteran because I was only in 5 years. I am a marine with 5 years of honorable service and two deployments. I don't deserve to be disrespected and lectured over a 10% discount that is only afforded to people who " look like veterans" due to their age. You lost a customer
Couldn't find anyone to help us once we found our own material that was needed paid for it then couldn't find anyone to help us load ended up loading everything ourselves. This is approximately the third time this is happened looks like a Lowe's home improvement center in Greenwood will not be getting any more of our business even though will have to travel to Anderson or Augusta Home Depot .
